Abstract: 

In this article, an attempt has been made to estimate the amount of sound Transmission loss in a flat oval channel by applying the approach of statistical energy analysis. Correct estimation of sound Transmission loss in an air conditioning channel is of great importance due to the harmful effects of noise pollution in the environment on human health. Simulation with the statistical energy analysis method is a powerful approach to estimate sound and vibration in problems in which we deal with complex and multi-part systems; is considered. In this method, first, a system is divided into several subsystems, and then by writing a matrix equation that includes the energy exchanges between subsystems and energy loss coefficients; It is investigated from the perspective of vibration and sound estimation.On average, the model presented in this Research is able to estimate the sound Transmission loss in different dimensions of the air conditioning channels according to the experimental results in the accuracy range of ± 2.5 dB. Considering that it seems that the results obtained from modeling with this method are in good agreement with the experimental data; The results of this Research can be used as an efficient approach to estimate noise in oval shaped channels stretched in different lengths.

Abstract: 

In a finite stationary Markov Chain, transition probabilities may depend on some explanatory variables. A similar problem has been considered here. The corresponding posteriors are derived and inferences are done using these posteriors. Finally, the procedure is illustrated with a real example.

Abstract: 

در این مقاله به بررسی نحوه پیاده سازی الگوریتم Chain code بر روی FPGA می پردازیم. الگوریتم Chaincode یکی از الگوریتم های کد کردن تصویر می باشد که برای کد کردن لبه های یک شیء در تصویر استفاده می شود همچنین این الگوریتم می تواند عرض، ارتفاع، محیط و مساحت شیء را نیز به دست آورد. این الگوریتم در پردازش تصویر و شناسایی و مقایسه شیء ها و الگوها با هم کاربرد بسیاری دارد. در این پروژه ابتدا الگوریتم Chain code با استفاده از VHDL که زبان توصیف سخت افزار می باشد، شبیه سازی شده و سپس برنامه نوشته شده به زبان VHDL بر روی مدل Spartan-II از FPGA های شرکت Xilinx پیاده سازی می شود.پردازنده مذکور قابلیت تولید Chain code را برای یک تصویر با ابعاد حداکثر 256*256 پیکسل سیاه و سفید دارا می باشد که البته در صورت نیاز این ابعاد قابل گسترش می باشند. همچنین این پردازنده، طول، عرض، محیط و مساحت شیء موجود در تصویر را نیز علاوه بر تولید کد به دست می آورد.

Abstract: 

The objective and purpose of this Research paper are to provide a list of prospective Research areas to revamp the supply Chain of horticulture products as a relevant Research topic and for the same we conducted an extensive review of the available literature in the domain. We performed a detailed review of academic articles, published in reputed peer-reviewed international journals, in the domains of horticulture products (fruits and vegetables, flowers, nuts and seeds, herbs, medicinal plants, sprouts, seaweeds, mushrooms, algae, and non-food crops like grass, ornamental trees, and plants) and its supply Chain management. An extensive review has been developed to emphasize the need for alignment among the key aspects of horticulture products and its supply Chain, the links between supply Chain processes and strategy. We have taken a final sample of 70 articles published from 1994 to 2018 for the knowledge base of this Research. A Literature survey in this respect indicates that most of the Research has been conducted in the field of products having longer life cycles than the products having shorter life cycles like perishable (horticulture products) products. The scope of the Research is to study the various levels and distinct forms of horticulture products’ supply Chain. The results provide evidence about the journals, show the publication pattern over time, the Research methodology adopted, and the content elements of horticulture products’ supply Chain. The Research findings apply to a large extent for managerial decisions. There is huge Research scope available in the area of the horticulture supply Chain as only limited Research has been done in this field. This Research work and future Researches in this field would be helpful for managers, decision-makers, students as well as academicians. After extensive review and synthesis, important findings from the existing literature, critical review, and challenges have been derived to highlight how horticulture products and its supply Chain should be best matched to its production and logistics processes.

Abstract: 

A CVT push-belt, composed of 12 layers of bands and a number of segments, is modeled for vibration analysis. Predefined compression and tension loads are applied to segments and bands respectively. Continuous and discrete beams composed of segments are used to investigate contact properties between segments. Three models of band contacts have been established based on complexity and various modeling approaches in ABAQUS. Contacts between bands are modeled by a frictionless contact between shell elements tied together in the first model and in the second model. To improve the accuracy, a composite shell with special interface layers is utilized as third model. By using the segment models, it has been concluded that a group of segments can be considered as a continuous beam at high compression loads and as individual rigid masses in low compression loads. The results of composite shell model show better prediction of the vibration properties of bands pack model. Separate cases of loading are considered for tension and compression spans.
